Märkasin, et sellist teemat polegi. Spoilerite teemasse nagu ei oleks hea uudiseid panna, sest mõni fänn ei loe spoilereid ja jääb seetõttu uudistest üldse ilma..

2 hooaega veel vähemalt, aga nagu intervius selgus, siis TrekRangeril võib õigus olla, et hooaeg hakkab venima. Ronal D. Moore alustas hooaega kartusega, et tal pole piisavalt lugusid kuni lõpuni (20 episoodi). Loodame, et tal need läbimõtlemata ideed ka head on  13 episoodi on tegelikult kvaliteetsele sarjale paras just, pole liiga palju, samas ka mitte liiga vähe. Aga siit tuleb hooaegade vaheline ootamine, 3ndat hooaega sai ju pool aastat oodatud...

Nojah, põhimõtteliselt olen ka mina nõus sellega, et 20 episoodi hooajas lihtsalt tekitab venitamist ja igavamaid lugusid.  Kui juba The 4400, mille hooajad on 13 episoodi pikad, mõjus hooaja keskel kuidagi ära vajununa, siis....
Aga hea vähemalt, et mees teab, kuidas sari lõppema peaks.

minumeelest küll BSG teise hooaja kohta ei sa kurta, et see oleks kuidagi igav olnud või veninud kahtlaselt...
senimaani on igatahes bsg kirjutad väga head tööd teinud ning sari pole veel kannatama pidanud igavuse või venimise märkide käes |

Pole vist küll suurem uudis, aga alates 21. jaanuarist hakkab BSG eetris olema pühapäeviti; seni näidati sarja reede õhtul. Eetriaja vahetuse põhjuseks on vähenenud vaatajanumbrid ja muutusega loodetakse inimesi tagasi võita.

Ei tea, mulle see osa üldiselt meeldis, kuigi natuke imelik oli, et nad nii kaubandust oma kontrolli alla tegelt ei saanudki... ometi peaks Galactica ju, kes on naguni kogu laevastiku elusõlm, suutma seal kontrollida mida tahes... nu eks see ole natuke selle proua presidendi süü kah, kes mingi hulle vabadusi taga ajab vms!
aga jah... seda osa võib küll vast vaheosaks nimetada, sest midagi väga edasi viivat seal minu mäletamist mööda küll ei olnud. |

Võimalik, et kolmanda ja neljanda hooaja vahel tuleb veel eraldi telefilm. Spekuleeritakse, et see võib olla seotud plaanitava BSG spin-offi Capricaga.

Battlestar Galactica prequel gets thumbs-up from Sci-Fi; two-hour pilot will show creation of toasters...err, Cylons.
The long-rumored BSG prequel Caprica is no longer rumor; it's science fact. [Editor's note: called it yesterday afternoon!] Fans familiar with Battlestar's "The Cylons were created by man" intro (well duh, have you seen Sharon and Number Six?) will finally get to see it happen. Sci-Fi has given the go-ahead on a two-hour Caprica pilot; if it's successful, it will likely be turned into a series.

Battlestar's Moore Eager To Helm
Battlestar Galactica executive producer Ronald D. Moore told SCI FI Wire that he's eager to direct the show's first post-writers'-strike episode in his debut behind the camera.
"I'm very excited," Moore said in an interview. "It should be a treat to work with the cast and crew in a different context. It's my first time out. I'll make plenty of mistakes, but I'll have a good support system to sort of save me from myself. And it'll be fun."
Moore laughed when asked if there's anywhere he could possibly place a camera that's not already been utilized by one of his predecessors. "I don't think so, and that's the kind of trap you try not to fall into, because then you start just trying to be clever and [try to] do something that no one else has done," he replied. "I think what's important to me on my first time out is to tell the story well, to really tell a good story, to really make it an interesting character piece and just have a piece of film at the end that I'm proud of."
Moore's episode will likely premiere in 2009. Battlestar Galactica will kick off its fourth and final season April 4 at 10 p.m. with "He That Believeth in Me." --Ian Spelling |

Battlestar's End Is In Sight
Ronald D. Moore, co-executive producer of SCI FI Channel's original series Battlestar Galactica, told SCI FI Wire that knowing in advance that the show's upcoming fourth season would be its last greatly affected how the writing staff went about closing out the show.
"It informed everything," Moore said in an interview at the network's upfront presentation to advertisers in New York earlier this month. "We gathered with the writers before the season began and said, 'OK, this is the last year. We want to push to a resolution and let's talk about the end first.'"
In the fourth and final season, the crew of Galactica must contend with the sudden reappearance of Starbuck (Katee Sackhoff) and her revelation that she's been to Earth. Meanwhile, four people must deal with the sudden knowledge that they are Cylons.
"We talked about what the end of the series would be, and we've talked about the end of the series several times since," Moore said. "We keep refining it, changing some ideas about it, changing some of the parameters and just kind of continually finding it."
The recently ended writers' strike "stopped everything cold" after production had been completed on half of the final 20 episodes, Moore said. But it also provided an opportunity to assess the completed fourth-season episodes and take that into account as they prepared the final nine episodes, which will go into production in the coming weeks and air in 2009.
"It gave us a chance to step back and say, 'Well, some of those things that we were going to do, maybe that's not the best way to go. Let's go back and change it again. Let's re-break some of the story,'" Moore said. "It gave us all a chance to really step back, take a breath and say, 'OK, is this really the way we want to do the last 10 or not?' And we changed some of those things on the fly." Season four will premiere April 4 at 10 p.m. ET/PT with "He That Believeth In Me." --Ian Spelling |

Ega jah, aga lugesin, et siis peaks SciFi näitlejatele ja tegijatele rohkem raha maksma (Aaron Douglase blog kui ma õieti mäletan). Ma hetkel arvan, et ma üldse ei vaata 4. hooaega enne kui see läbi saab (2009 kecad siis). Miksi pole veel muidugi kindel, aga see on üks võimalus, mida hetkel kaalun. |

Mõlemad vaadatud. Battlestar Galactica Revealed on seriaali tutvustus rohkem nagu täiesti uutele vaatajatele, kus RDM ja David Eick seriaalist räägivad ja näidatakse eelnevatest osadest klippe. Teises lisas räägivad tuntud (niivõrd-kuivõrd) inimesed (näiteks Joss Whedon ja Seth Green) BSGst. |

Ei ole veel vaadanud, aga lähipäevil kindlasti. Caprica 1. hooaeg (20 osa) algab 2010 jaanuaris. |
