Uus seriaal keskendub siis noore Adama seklustele 1. cylonite sõjas.
Ausalt öeldes ma ei tea kas meil on veel ühte BSG eellugu vaja, sest BSG saaga lõpp on meile teada ja seega on eellood kõik pingevabad. |

No ei tea...alati on võimalus, et sari kukub parem välja kui arvati...
Minu enese jaoks on Caprica suhteliselt igav ja läbikukkunud sari ning seetõttu poleks mul midagi uue militaarse alatooniga BSG vastu...
Kuigi jah, me kõik teame, millega lugu lõpuks lõppeb....

Liitun eelkõnelejatega nende kahtluste osas. Minule tegelikult tundub, et BSG lugu sai juba räägitud ning sellised lisad (k.a. Caprica) omavad vähem sisulist tähendust seetõttu, et tulevik on juba ette teada. Lisaks muidugi see, et raske on ette kujutada, kuidas võiks keegi Adamat E.J. Olmosest paremini mängida. 
Aga samas muidugi on võimalik, et tegijatel on head ideed ning teostus tuleb korralik, mistõttu ei ole mõtet enne valmisprodukti nägemist lõplikku hinnangut anda. Ehk siis ootan uut sarja skeptilise optimismiga. |

Ma pole Caprica sarjagi näinud, nii et selles osas on mul raske ka selle uue võimaliku sarja kohta mingit arvamust avaldada. Samas minul isiklikult toimus pärast BSG lõppu täiesti ammendav pingelangus ja ainus asi, mis mind motiveeriks uuesti saagat vaatama, oleks jätk BSG lõpule.
Antud juhul ei pea ma silmas Adama ja teiste Maale saabunute olematuid seiklusi meie kauges minevikus, vaid meie tulevikku. Kahtlemata oleks huvitav Cylonite loomine ja sellest tekkivate probleemide lahendamine meie ühiskonnas, lisaks anti sellele ka väike vihje BSG lõpus.

Sain ka alles hommikul teada, et kavatsetakse uut BSG teemalist sarja tegema hakata, kuid paistab, et minust on juba ette jõutud uue teema loomisega.
Ka minul on kerge skeptilisus sees, et ega midagi uut just ei looda, nii et jääb võimalus eputada korralike eriefektidega, mis BSG's olid muidugi tasemel. Kuigi vaatan praegu Capricat, siis olen selles ka veidi pettunud, kuigi kõige suurem läbikukkumine see just ei ole, kuid midagi pilku naelutavat ka ei ole. Loodan siiski, et suudetakse midagi välja mõelda, mis rohkem vaatajaid kohale meelitaks, kuid hetkel on muidugi draamat rohkem kui küll.
Tuleb lihtsalt ära oodata, mida meile uue sarjaga pakutakse ja võibolla ei tulegi see kõige hullem. |

Nende nelja pildi põhjal ei julgeks ma mingeid erilisi järeldusi teha, aga esimesena tuli neid vaadates meelde Star Warsi stiil. Mis muidugi ei ole väga imelik, sest originaalne BSG oli suuresti Tähesõdadest inspireeritud. Võib-olla minnakse B&C-s siis natuke lähemale originaalseeria visuaalsele stiilile, mis mulle ka meeldiks, sest pärast uue BSG pingutatult realistlikku stiili kuluks natuke rohkem värve ära küll.

Adama will be in his early-to-mid 20s, and is described as Tom Cruise's character in Top Gun — a cocky and fearless jock. His experience as a fighter pilot thus far has been limited to simulations, but he can't wait to duke it out with the Cylons. His over-enthusiasm and risky maneuvers cause him to butt heads with the more experienced and cynical Electronic Countermeasures Officer, Coker Fasjovik.
ECO Fasjovik, in his late 20s to mid 30s, is weary after a long mission serving on Adama's first ship, a less-than-impressive Raptor called the Weasel. He is homebound after just 45 days of fighting this bloody war. Coker is none too happy to discover what was supposed to be a routine final assignment turns out to be a very dangerous task.
Unlike the trusting Adama, Coker sees through the beautiful female officer named Beka who has been assigned to their ship and realizes she's not what she appears. Indeed, she has a treasonous agenda that could cost them their lives as they set out on what proves to be a confusing and challenging mission. By the end of this first mission, Adama — faced with loss — will already be less trusting and more protective of his colleagues. |
Huvitav kas see Beka on külon? Senise kaanoniga ei läheks see nagu eriti kokku, aga kummalisemaidki asju on juhtunud.

| So the arc of Blood and Chrome is the first mission for a young William Adama, a green pilot just out of training. Over the course of his first week on the job, Adama loses his innocence and discovers that things in war are more complicated than he'd believed when he signed up. The story starts at the end, with the battle-haunted William Adama looking up in a stained Colonial uniform under a tattered parka, with a "thousand yard stare," as a voiceover talks about you find out who you are in wartime, both the good parts and the bad parts... and we all get what's coming to us. |

Syfy has cast Luke Pasqualino (Skins — U.K.) as Adama. While Ben Cotton (Hellcats, Riese) is the other lead, playing Adama’s commanding officer.
Pasqualino will star as the young, talented fighter pilot William Adama, a recent Academy graduate who finds himself assigned to the newest Battlestar in the Colonial fleet: the Galactica. Full of ambition and in pursuit of the intense action that the Cylon war promises, Adama quickly finds himself at odds with Coker (Cotton), the battle-weary officer to whom he reports. With 45 days left in his tour of duty, Coker desires an end to battle just as much as Adama craves the start of it. Though they clash at first, the two men forge an unlikely bond when a routine mission turns dangerous and becomes a pivotal one for the desperate fleet.
