The Lost Room
Sci-Fi Channel
The Lost Room is a science fiction television series advertised on the Sci Fi Channel during the premiere episode of Eureka. According to the trailer, the series revolves around 100 everyday items that possess unusual powers, such as a comb that can stop time for five seconds, or a pen that microwaves anything it touches. It is said that anybody who collects all 100 items and returns them to their "rightful place" will achieve "divinity" and that there are some individuals who believe that these items should never be found. The trailer then states that the protagonist is searching for these items for a different reason and cuts to an image of a screaming girl. It is scheduled to premiere in December 2006. It will begin airing in Canada December 10, 2006, on Space: The Imagination Station

Battlestar Galactica executive producer David Eick, along with writer John McNamara and director Jonathan Mostow, are bringing a new sci-fi thriller to Fox.
Entitled Them, the project is based on Michael Oeming and Daniel Berman's graphic novel Six. Taking a page from Battlestar's metaphorical take on the war in Iraq, Them will be working the sleeper cell angle. The premise of the show involves extraterrestrial terrorists who take on the shape of humans. Their mission is compromised when they begin to acquire human emotions, which act like a drug on them. Eick reported to Variety, "Them is about the war on terror, writ large."

@Enterprise: Jah, esimene sari on tõepoolest väga huvitav, võib juba praegu öelda, et seda hakkan kindlasti vaatama.
Jääb üle vaid loota, et sisu on sama hea kui lühikirjeldus.
Praegu on kosmose sci-fi sarju suhteliselt vähe, nii et iga uus on igati teretulnud.

Tegelikult ma suhtun sellesse Sarah Connor Chronicles projekti suhteliselt skeptiliselt. Olles Terminaatori filmide suur fänn, ei lepiks ma millegi vähema kui suurepärasega. Seega ma kardan jubedalt pettuda. Aga elame-näeme. Tobe on juba ette ära hinnata asja.

Kahjuks küll jah. Üldse on mitmele sf/f projektile viimasel ajal vesi peale tõmmatud (Locke & Key, Wonder Woman ja nüüd siis ka Precinct 17), nii et paneb mõtlema, mis sügisel üldse saab.
Katsuks teha siia mingi nimekirja ulmesarjadest, mis sügishooajal siiski arvatavasti ekraanile peaks jõudma. Ei hakka siin mainima sarju nagu Falling Skies ja Terra Nova, mille tulek on juba ammu teada ja samuti mitte sarju, mis on uuendatud järgnevateks hooaegadeks (nagu Game of Thrones ja Supernatural).

Now, according to The Hollywood Reporter, Syfy are hoping to replicate the show’s success by commissioning a spin-off show based around the character of H.G. Wells. If the idea goes to series, Wells will find herself in the 1890's using her unique insights (including her scientific experience) to solve the mysteries of that era. The show is also described as a steampunk series.
In her exploits, Wells will work with a mechanical engineer and the police commissioner to put the pieces together and solve inexplicable crimes that have taken place. Her mis-adventures will then inspire her brother to write about them, with each episode serving as inspiration.
The character of H.G. Wells has previously been seen in "Warehouse 13" where she was depicted as an Agent of Warehouse 12 in the late 19th century. It's not clear if actress Jaime Murray will reprise her role. This new project is still in the early phases with "Warehouse 13" showrunner Jack Kenny signed on to develop the show. |

Mina vaatan Alcatrazi ja tunded on hetkel kahetised. Kuna JJ Abrams on sarjaga seotud, siis püütakse ikka mingit müstikat sisse kerida nagu Lost'ga oli. JJ Abramsiga seotud teine sari on Person of Interest (trailer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=68xN_BNYhc4), mis on veidi "maapealsema" teemaga.
Alcatraz ei ole mind suutnud veel üllatada, kuid vaikselt ehitatakse lugu üles ja pärast 8 osa hakkab mingisugune hägune pilt kujunema, mis tegelikult sellel saarel juhtus 50 aastat tagasi, kuid suure tõenäosusega suudetakse see pilt edaspidi veelgi rohkem segamini ajada. Suure õhinaga ma seda ei soovitaks, kuid vaadata kannatab ja praegu tuleb ainult oodata, mis huvitavat edasi saama hakkab. |
