The Recycling Family of McClanes

John:

I think my family members are good at saving and we know a lot about it because my grandparents work in a gift wrap recycling factory. My brother Jack has taught me a lot about recycling. He never uses electricity. And he washes himself once a week in the sea. My sister Lucy doesn’t use bags for shopping. She never does shopping. She also keeps saying that if we never buy anything, we don’t have to recycle anything!
My mission is to stop the mailman before he enters the garden and reaches our mailbox which is next to our door. The mailman Mr. Hans arrives at 6 a.m. and by that time I have already filled the mailbox with oil. As he arrives, I set it on fire so there’s no way of putting the letters into it. When my sister Lucy learned about my technology of terrorising Mr. Hans she was shocked about the amount of oil I wasted every day. So instead of oil, we set up sixty-seven traps and hired a guard to the mailbox.
But what about my parents? They don’t live with us. They moved away after a little fight. They wanted to recycle our house, but we didn’t agree. So now they travel around the world and recycle everything on their way.
This is the McClane family. The only known recycled family in the world.
